The Newport Community Center HVAC Needs an Upgrade!

The Newport Community Center cafeteria is home to our monthly and annual events and the cooling system desperately needs an upgrade in order to keep people safe and cool during the hottest months. We kept it local and hired A-1 Heating and Cooling who generously moved quickly and on a tight budget to complete the work in time for the 90th Anniversary of the Newport Agricultural Fair. Upgrading the HVAC equipment will also allow us to open up the space during periods of extreme heat as a cooling station for vulnerable residents. The heat and humidity are not done with us yet!
